After the success of PlanTech Week 2018 and continued digital transformation across the built environment and mobility sectors, we have curated another series of free lectures, networking events and interactive installations designed to debate and showcase the tweaks and transformations that technology is enabling in planning.

Day one of PlanTech Week 2019 will focus on the land use planning system innovations being generated by government and industry both in the UK and globally. Our speakers will provide their own experience and challenges with these innovations as well as the business and user experience benefits of adopting digital technology in the planning system. This day will be of great value to any actors working in the built environment, technology and digital transformation sectors across the UK.

Day two of PlanTech Week will explore how planning is evolving to support transport innovation and disruption. Key topic areas will include people, places, infrastructure and the business environment. Speakers will reveal how they are accommodating welcoming disruptions in the industry with the introduction of new technologies. This will be of great value to UK-based senior policymakers, planners and decision-makers.

Day three of PlanTech Week will feature a Greater London Authority (GLA) sponsored event and Connected Places Catapult’s Third Thursday networking drinks. Third Thursday will, of course, be PlanTech themed as we discuss highlights from the previous two days with our guests.

Take a look through the programme for each day below, and we look forward to seeing you in September.
